Dr. Jegadeesh Thampi is a distinguished scientific  leader in the pharmaceutical industry, with over 20 years of experience  advancing novel molecules  - from  discovery through development and commercialization. He has led programs involving small molecules, therapeutic oligonucleotides, and antibody-drug conjugates with  collaborators, across geographies. His strategic and scientific leadership has enabled more than 200 drug development programs, at various stages.

A pioneer in India’s  pharmaceutical research landscape, Dr. Thampi played a pivotal role in establishing the CDMO market for novel chemical entities (NCEs) by developing high-performing teams, setting up world-class facilities, and implementing manufacturing systems that consistently exceeded global customer and regulatory expectations. 

With a deep understanding of global regulatory landscape, Dr. Thampi led teams for successful pre-approval inspections (PAIs) by both the USFDA and PMDA (Japan) with zero observations.

He holds a Ph.D. (Tech) in Chemical Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT, formerly UDCT), Mumbai, and completed postdoctoral research at INP Toulouse, France. He further enhanced his leadership skills with an Executive MBA (ePGDM) from IIM Kozhikode and entrepreneurship training at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.  

In recognition of his contributions to the Indian chemical industry, he was honored with the Distinguished Alumnus Award by ICT, Mumbai. He was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), London, in 2020, and in 2025, he was admitted as a Chartered Engineer (India) and Fellow of the Institution of Engineers India (FIE).

Dr. Sivaram Chintalapati is a seasoned structural biologist and a biophysicist with over 25 years of experience in the life sciences industry. He brings in a rare combination of deep scientific expertise and strategic operational leadership to the role. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Chintalapati has led cross-functional teams across India, Asia Pacific, and Europe, delivering results in pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals and biotechnology. 

He has been instrumental in setting up and scaling key capabilities - establishing market presence for biologics discovery, leading the setup of DNA synthesis laboratories, and implementing project management systems that align scientific delivery with business goals. 

His technical foundation includes molecular biology, protein sciences, biochemistry, drug discovery, and CHO platform operations. 

Dr. Chintalapati holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the prestigious Max Planck Institute of Biophysics, Frankfurt, and has completed leadership certifications including the Crestcom Bullet Proof Manager program.
